Although, bread is part of most people’s daily food consumption, it contains gluten and flour, which is very bad for our health. But I have good news: you can have the healthy natural and raw lifestyle that you want with my tasty raw vegan bread recipe that is gluten-free and doesn’t have any flour in it .
In this video I show you how to make a healthy raw vegan bread using an oven or a dehydrator. This bread is very easy to make and all you need to do is follow the instructions on the video and make your own delicious and healthy ‘baked’ raw vegan bread at home with or without a dehydrator. Baked or Raw Vegan Bread Recipe
To make this delicious raw vegan bread recipe, you’ll need a food processor to mix the ingredients well. I’m making this recipe with an oven because I don’t have a dehydrator but you can use an oven or a dehydrator at home. So here are the steps for making the recipe:
Soak 2 cups of whole grain raw buckwheat in water for 8 hours then rinse it well and add it to the food processor.
Soak 2 cups and a half of sunflower seeds in water for 8 hours, rinse it really well and put it in the food processor.
Add one tablespoon of chopped garlic to the food processor.
Add 2 cups of chopped carrots.
Add 2 tablespoons of Himalayan salt. Don’t use conventional salt because it is not good for your health. Himalayan salt is better for your health because it is unprocessed natural sea salt.
Add one and a half to 2 tablespoons of Italian herb. I use a mixture of sage, rosemary, basil and oregano for the Italian herbs but you can use any herbs you have.
Soak one fourth of a cup of grounded flax seeds in water until it becomes like jell. Then add it to the food processor. The flax seeds will help bind the mixture for making the delicious bread.
Add half of a cup of cold-pressed organic Olive oil in the food processor.
Blend the mixture for 3 minutes in the food processor so that we’ll reach the consistence we want for the mixture.
Get a pizza baking tray and cover it with a baking paper then spread the mixture of the raw vegan bread evenly on the tray. Make sure that the mixture is only half a centimeter or one fourth of an inch thick. If the mixture it too thick it will not dehydrate well as it will be wet on the inside and dry on the outside.
Dehydrate for 8 to 12 hours then turn it over and dehydrate it for one more hour. If you are using an oven, bake it at 200C (392F) for one hour then turn it over and bake it for 30 minutes.
That’s it just cut the baked raw vegan bread and serve it. Enjoy!
